We are currently experiencing peak cherry blossom season in Toronto. We are lucky to have cherry trees all over our city and last year I went to visit the trees in Trinity Bellwoods (pictures from Bellwoods HERE). I can’t believe that all these years I have never been to see the beautiful fairytale that is High Park during when the cherry blossoms are in bloom. There is such a small window of time that the blossoms are present and there is actually a webpage dedicated to tracking the High Park cherry blossoms and will tell you when peak bloom is! My friend Kitty and I trekked out to High Park this week to take in the dreamy white and pink flowers which have transformed the park into a real life fairytale. There is really nothing like walking under all the tree’s with the sunlight peaking through has soft white petals float down to the grass. If you’re thinking of visiting the blossoms there is one day left of peak bloom season, so make it snappy!
