Miami is known primarily for two things beautiful beaches & beautiful people “real sweet faces” as Will Smith once so eloquently put it. While for North-Easterner’s such as myself it’s the perfect vacation getaway- given our proximity, it’s also a nerve wracking endeavour to always be looking your best while on vacation. It’s a city which is truly all about what you’re wearing, where you’re going & who you’ll be seen there with. I’ve been travelling to Miami my entire life & I feel pretty well acquainted with the vibe in America’s favourite party city. While I was there for two weeks in Febuary, I curated a look book of sorts for those of you travelling to the beach for the first time.
I’ll be honest, I’m very selfish when it comes to sharing my favourite spots. When I discover a new favourite place I worry about it becoming everyone’s favourite spot and that it will not belong to me anymore. Which is why I’m probably better off being a fashion blogger than a lifestyle blogger. Last Saturday I visited a new hair salon and I’m so excited about my latest discover, I decided to share it here. I’ve never been one to be loyal to a hair salon, sometimes I feel like the only girl in the world without a dedicated stylist. Historically I’ve booked last minute, or made walk-in appointments, but I think I’ve finally learned my lesson with that kind of behaviour.
#WeAreHappyPlace Sorry to leave you, it’s been nearly two months since I last posted & I’ve missed being here dearly. Life circumstances had me focusing on more pressing matters, but I hope to be back here more regularly now. I have several blog posts I’ve been working on for a while and am excited to publish them over the coming weeks. Happy Place is the epitome of culture in 2018 (or dare I say it, lack there of). Not a museum, not an art installation – just a temporary pop up for people to go and take pictures for Instagram Much like…
A few months ago I published the most Instagrammable spots in NYC. Over the past year, or two Toronto has become a much more aesthetic and design-heavy city, with cute new places popping up almost weekly. As an Instagram fanatic with FOMO, it is hard to keep up at times. I wanted to publish a similar post for my own city, this one with a bit of a twist. These are specifically, the ten most Instagrammable walls in Toronto. Something, a little different, but still a great list of beautiful spots. Have you been to any of these? Let me know in the comments which one’s I missed, as I mentioned, new places are popping up all the time! If you would like a more thorough list of Instagrammable spots in the city let me know, scouting Instagram content is one of my favourite pastimes!
