Happy Place & My Musings on Instagram

#WeAreHappyPlace Sorry to leave you, it’s been nearly two months since I last posted & I’ve missed being here dearly.  Life circumstances had me focusing on more pressing matters, but I hope to be back here more regularly now.  I have several blog posts I’ve been working on for a while and am excited to publish them over the coming weeks. Happy Place is the epitome of culture in 2018 (or dare I say it, lack there of).  Not a museum, not an art installation – just a  temporary pop up for people to go and take pictures for Instagram.…

Most Instagrammable Walls in Toronto

A few months ago I published the most Instagrammable spots in NYC. Over the past year, or two Toronto has become a much more aesthetic and design-heavy city, with cute new places popping up almost weekly. As an Instagram fanatic with FOMO, it is hard to keep up at times. I wanted to publish a similar post for my own city, this one with a bit of a twist. These are specifically, the ten most Instagrammable walls in Toronto. Something, a little different, but still a great list of beautiful spots. Have you been to any of these? Let me know in the comments which one’s I missed, as I mentioned, new places are popping up all the time! If you would like a more thorough list of Instagrammable spots in the city let me know, scouting Instagram content is one of my favourite pastimes!

PUMA En Pointe & New York City Ballet

Last Saturday I was invited by a collaboration between PUMA and Sportcheck to workout with two New York City Ballet dancers.   A group of us gathered at Toronto’s Extension Room,  a lovely airy and white washed dance studio near the Distillery District at 8am to try out the PUMA En Pointe collection.  PUMA En Pointe is a new collection inspired by dance, both in aesthetic, with soft pink and satin bows, as well as in practical use, with shoes with flexible soles and soft uppers to allow for articulation of the foot, a very important aspect of dance, particularly ballet.

High Park Cherry Blossoms

We are currently experiencing peak cherry blossom season in Toronto.  We are lucky to have cherry trees all over our city and last year I went to visit the trees in Trinity Bellwoods (pictures from Bellwoods HERE).  I can’t believe that all these years I have never been to see the beautiful fairytale that is High Park during when the cherry blossoms are in bloom.  There is such a small window of time that the blossoms are present  and there is actually a webpage dedicated to tracking the High Park cherry blossoms and will tell you when peak bloom is!…
